The organiser's short list. Set it up once, then let the draw do the hiding.
Start your drawFree. No sign-up. About 2 minutes.
Set a buy-by date. A week before the exchange works for most groups.
Say the budget early. One number, the whole group, no exceptions.
Ask what each person likes. The tool takes likes in your own words, on step 2.
Ask about pairs. Mark them on step 3.
Send the group message first. It carries the budget and the rules.
Then send each private link to its person only.
Your share screen counts the links as you send them.
It names who still needs theirs, on this device only.
Closed the tab? Your draw stays saved on this device.
Open the site again and send the missing link.
Each gift is labeled with one name: the person it is for.
Nobody signs their own name.
End with a reveal game, and let the group guess.
How Secret Santa works: the game in four steps.
How to run a Secret Santa: the organiser's short list.
Secret Santa rules: the classic rules, plus the enforced ones.
Gift ideas under $50: real picks, by interest.
Secret Santa for large groups: one draw for up to 30 people.
How long does it take to run a draw?
About two minutes to set up. Sending the links takes as long as your own messages take.
What if someone joins late?
Draw the whole group again, so the seal stays whole. Or swap in a volunteer, who gives up their match and tells the organiser.
How do I prove the draw was fair?
Post the sealed receipt to the group. It shows the group, the date, the names, and the budget. It shows no matches and no links.
